Came for my Mum&#39;s birthday and they made it very special staff were really friendly and really enjoyed our afternoon tea

Betty&#39;s Tea Room&#39;s most famous classic nut scones, served with homemade jam and cream, are soft and delicious, leaving a lingering aftertaste. However, the macarons and chocolate cakes are a bit too greasy to accept.

The service was exceptional, the food was a very high standard and served on hot plates which most other restaurants fail to realise is the key to keeping the food warm

Really friendly service.  The carvery was all quite fresh, gammon turkey pork beef and lamb to choose from.  Vegetables were good especially roast potatoes, we will definitely be back!
